Ever since Zabagiolne's meeting with Underboss Cillian Quinn , the Zizgagoon had been a little...anxious. More energetic than usual but not always upbeat. His partner had been anxiously running paths into his carpet for days now and he'd figured maybe it was time to start helping him treat whatever it was that bothered him. An outlet of sorts. And wit ha famous massage parlor in Mauville so close, seemed lie ka good day to go out. [break][break]

So he made the appointment and brought his partner in. Only...it hadn't lasted as long as he'd hoped. The shiny?? ball of fuzz has slumped in his arms while he shopped, only to squirm and bounce out the second they hit the park. Whizzing faster than Mint can track, darting in tell tale zigzag patterns and sniffing at bushes, trashcans, benches you name it. The summer sun beats down on the park, and Mint fans himself already half flushed despite doing his best to stay cool. Loose crop top and shorts, hair tied back? Layers upon layers of sunscreen that were doing their very best to keep away UV rays? It's not enough. And as Zabaglione barrels towards the pair of Houndooms, Mint cracks open a cold bottle of water he'd snatched from a vending machine and takes a quick sip. Right as his partner knocks into one of the Houndooms and falls back from hitting a sturdier pokemon. [break][break]

"Zaba! Don't be rude! It's too hot for this!" he called out. Though friendly enough, the introduction may startle the bigger dogs. "If you get bitten, you're at fault!" he reminded him, unwilling to coddle the galarian Zigzagoon. Fuck around and find out. But it is cute seeing how big the fire types were as the purple and white blur got up and barked. Once, nervously after Mint's scolding then another excitedly as if gaining the courage to speak again. [break][break]

And despite the concern, Mint keeps an eye on them as he nears an occupied bench. He slides a hand into his back pocket, pulling put his phone and beginning to angle it towards the trio of pups. After snapping a couple of photos be finally slumps onto the bench and takes another drink of his water. It's only then that he realized he'd gottne next to someone. "Oh- sorry! I should've asked- I'm just tracking my boy." he said. "I can get out of your hair." he added, about to pop back up after letting out a small laugh.

Coco turns around, and begins to growl loudly, preparing to bite, before a yip from Latte stops her from tearing Zaba to shreds. The female hound snorts at the little goon, pawing at him, as Latte quietly makes his rounds to get to the other side.[break][break]

Both dogs begin to paw at the little pup, as Magnus raises a brow, not at the dogs, but at the hot twink sitting by him now. Not a word at all to him, just goes and takes pictures. And come to think of it, he was a terrible photographer.[break][break]

"You get me some of those pics, and you can stay near my hair all you like." His ass was all muscle. Hot. His type. Magnus was never one to discriminate gender or sexuality.[break][break]

"Coco and Latte like him sure enough. What's your name? Unless you want me to call you handsome, or sexy, or beautiful. Pick your poison, hot stuff." His tone is dulcet, and he smirks a toothy grin ear to ear, golden eyes checking Mint out. He could probably lift Mint with relative ease.[break][break]

Zabaglione quivers, the energy inside his tiny body a horrible mix of play and anxious. He'd gotten a bit...more energetic ever since his corruption. Not always positive, but Mint still adored him anyway. As they paw as him, the zigzagoon paws back, darting in and out at the Houndooms as if to begin chase. [break][break]

Mint grinned at his companion. "Sure, give me your number." he said as his phone clicked off. He turned towards the strange, mouth open in a big smile as he's about to offer praise before he sputters out. Caught off guard, he stared for a moment, brain processing before he continues to flash a nervous grin. He nearly missed the slow once over, and as Magnus met his eyes again he found himself unable to keep calm. Flushed fair skin only turns an even brighter red before he replied with, "M-Mint's fine." He cleared his throat, trying to kill the stutter before it started. [break][break]

"Coco and Latte are cute names by the way." He said looking back as he swapped off his cellphone and into his contacts to begin typing up a new one. "Your name as cute as theirs?" He's still flustered, still bright red, but he's not as useless as he once was. At least now, he didn't need to be plastered to return a flirt.

Ah. So the twink wanted his number now? Cute smile too. He's playing it a little too tame for his own liking, but seeing Mint's face burning red meant that all it would take is a little coercion.[break][break]

"Ah, so the pretty little thing with a nice ass is Mint, huh? I always did like mints. Can't eat thin mints anymore though, that shit fucks with calories. Coco and Latte watch little Zaba paw back, both sides throwing paws up to each other, in either greeting, or acknowledgment. But when the Zigzagoon begins to dart about, it's Coco that begins to bark and chase after. Latte merely looks on sleepily, and goes to lay under the nearby tree, curiosity satiated. Low energy hound. Coco, on the other hand, is making happy pants for the first time in awhile.[break][break]

As she chases and plays with Zaba, Magnus turns and points. "Mine? Baby, call me Adorable." Toothy smirk, but he waves a finger towards the running Houndoom. Then to the sleepy one. "Coco is the energetic. She never got to be a puppy too much. Shelter-raised-" Then over towards the other Houndoom, sleepy. "-Latte over there was abandoned. Took him in real quick."[break][break]

Then he turns fully, propping his head up with his arm.[break][break]

"Real name is Magnus though. I run the gang called Orthrus. Heard of us?" He smirks, and does not hesitate in checking Mint out the whole time. Enjoying the color of red on little Mint.[break][break]

Oh yeah. This was an easy swish. Could even do it on the bench here. Magnus has done worse.

"Yeah?!" Mint mouth is pulled into a nervous grin as his ears flash red. He found himself looking at the back of his shorts before snapping his attention to Magnus. Don't look. Don't look!! Green eyes move to the dogs as his scrambled brain tried to focus. "I- I don't- really...calorie count-" he said focusing on the least embarrassing thing he'd heard. [break][break]

Zabaglione's tail wiggles darting back and forth until he realizes Coco is taking the bait. He barks, leaving Latte alone as he darts away from Coco in the typical zigzag patterns, making use of the different benches and topiaries left in the park. [break][break]

The guy moves on fairly quickly, even with out Mint's input. He looks back at the dogs, waving easily at Latte in case he wanted to come over. He pops a squat, and clicks his tongue before patting himself down to find a little treat to share. "I- I found Zabaglione in the dumpster outside my apartment building." he said with a small laugh. [break][break]

At the sound of a name he stands back up and looks back at Magnus. "Cool name-" he choked in surprise at the audacity. He'd heard of the gang name Orthrus- a group that operated specifically in Mauville. A multitude of criminal operations but nothing...too drastic. Nothing bad enough to get labeled terrorists like like Rocket. But still- ballsy thing to talk about in public. "R-Really?" he asked. Either this guy was that carefree about his position, or they were really pulling out all the stops to hit on him.

That in itself was still a crazy thought. On account of it didn't really happen quite often. "I haaave~ But...is it really you?" he decided its better to play coy. Whether or not it was real. "What's your proof?" flashes a grin, despite how bright red his face had gone.

Coco is chasing, bobbing, weaving the shortest route to get to Zaba, but as he uses benches and topiaries in the park, the Houndoom follows almost instinctively like a normal dog would. Diving under the bench to give chase, smashing through topiary, she's so big she practically is wrecking the place, but she's having fun. Usually, she's the maternal one, but here she was, acting a puppy.[break][break]

Her memories go back years ago, when her siblings would all be happy to enjoy playing with each other, and she was alone. Runt of the litter, small girl. She'd found her way out of what was a dog mill, smarter than her own siblings, and escaped captors until she reached a shelter not too far away. After that, she was always defensive of every single potential trainer.[break][break]

Everyone but Magnus.[break][break]

It was hard at first, but when he came in and saw the pain in her, the dog man truly won her. To a bite, he hugged her, to a bark, he held her close. That puppy Houndour cried that day.[break][break]

Now, here she is chasing Zaba and smashing into things, not a care in the world.[break][break]

"Sounds like Latte." Magnus happily eyed his other Houndoom, the tired boy happy and heavier-set than Coco, but as he focuses on his laugh, he coos out. "Got a cute laugh. I like that in a guy." He's really trying to sell it now.[break][break]

When asked for proof though, Magnus snickers. Course it ain't that easy, man would have to prove himself. Didn't have the jacket, didn't have his usual swag. But instead, he uses his title and his money. "Oh yeah. Could take you to our hideout here in Mauville for proof. Get real personal. No one there right now, so we could enjoy a fun day, watch a movie, makeout a little, smash... you like cheesy romcoms, baby? Or is Mint with the ass more of the horror guy who wants to hold me close?" It's more of a 'lets take him back to the hideout here in Mauville, where we run things'. Jack Magnus didn't need to say more.[break][break]

How many other six foot nine guys with the crazy hair and the golden eyes were around? Probably few. He didn't feel the need to push it.[break][break]

But a little incentive. "I'll have Latte be your lapdog." Latte doesn't even budge, he just opens one eye, and accepts his role as the sleepy, plumper dog.[break][break]

Zabaglione jumps at the sound of a topiary bursting open with the Houndoom following close by. The little racoon skids around, tongue lolling as he shifted and feinted directions. He let Coco get close only to fake her out once, then twice. Finally Coco gets close and he slips forward, tumbling into a hedge with a loud yelp. His entire body goes through, but he's not big enough to finish the job. A poofy white and purple tail stick out of the bushes while Zabaglione groaned, a little dizzy after taking the dive. [break][break]

Mint's eyes are on the other dog as he tried to ignore the self conscious bright redness spreading up his face and down his neck. The only real acknowledgement Magnus gets is a glance, and a smile as he tucked his bangs behind his ears while trying not to grin. [break][break]

There's no real danger- well- ok there's some real danger, with this plan. Being Rocket- being a Beast- didn't mean he should act recklessly. Plus there's something about how incredibly straight forward the whole process is that charms him. Just a little. [break][break]

And it helps temper his nerves. He doesn't have to think as hard or second guess motivations too much. It's easy, and while he shouldn't disregard any risk or ulterior motives having just met Magnus, he got the feeling what he saw was what he'd get. It helps and it doesn't. He can joke if he likes, but there's still that underlying nervousness that wanted so badly to add stutter to his voice or soften his actions. Even now, he found it hard to look Magnus in the eye. But he'd come so far to just back out now. So he braces himself and takes his time. Magnus had surprised him, wrapped him up in his pace. But now he needed to fall into Mint's. [break][break]

"R-Really? Only your hide out as proof?" he asked, sitting back down on the bench after snapping some photos of their dogs running and of Latte looking at them. The side closest to Magnus felt hot and his braincells were firing at 100 MPH just to keep him thinking straight and keep himself from just nodding along and staring at Magnus' chest. "You asking me out, Jack Magnus ?" he asked, allowing himself to spare a toothy grin up at the man. "'Cause it sounds like a fun date." [break][break]

At the offer to let him have lap custody of Latte he looks over at the dog once more, heavily considering going home with him, just for that dat boy over yonder. "Tempting...but then who'd keep your lap warm?" he asked looking back at Magnus before away again. Coy, coy, keep it smooth you little jerk. "In any case," he said, casually skirting over the invite. "I can't today, schedule's packed. And you can't blame a guy for being a little cautious about a house invite."

Mint with the ass truly is cute, and seeing how he's fidgeting the way he is, it only makes it more apparent. Magnus loved a challenge, and seeing how he acted to just light flirting, and the proposal of a date, it has him shrug with a knowing smirk to match the toothy grin. Who would keep his lap warm? "I can think of someone." He coos back, and tilts his head to check out his ass again. Cute face, nice ass. He'd slam. But he was definitely playing a little hard to get, and Magnus found it a fun way to pass the time...[break][break]

Coco, on the other hand, was finding it fun attempting to pull a raccoon out of a bush with her teeth. With gripping Zaba's tail, she begins to pull from the bush, wanting to at the least do it in a way that would be less pulling a carrot from the ground, and something a little less forceful. She's not thinking of anything but fun, as Latte yawns, and continues his puppy nap.[break][break]

As Magnus nods and shrugs out, before turning a thumb behind him. "Sure, but you're not too busy for coffee, are you? I mean, my lap is awful cold, and it could use a hot coffee and a hottie to come warm it up by the shop nearby." Yes. He is that simple to just want him in his lap.[break][break]

"So? Does Mint with the booty wanna have a quick coffee?"

There's no way to control how his body reacts. He watches Magnus with vested interest, cheeks and neck flush red as he tried not to bite his lip so hard he bled. The grin he tries to hide won't go away. He's flirting successfully, he thinks. A vast improvement to a summer ago. Well, more like 2 summers ago.

Zabaglione pops out of the shrubbery, leaves and small twigs stuck to his fur. Staring at Coco upside, he bats his paws weakly before barking. That's one way to catch him. He doesn't try to scurry out of her grasps, content hanging off her like an over fluffed Swoobat.

As embarrassed as he felt, maybe it was nice not having to think too hard about another person's intentions. Crass? Yeah. Vulgar? Absolutely. But it wasn't like he couldn't just leave. It's not like Magnus hadn't taken no for an answer. Besides, its not like Mint didn't find him attractive. Broad shoulders, thick arms, muscled chest. He was done for.

"I could do a little coffee, yeah?" Mint acquiesced, closer to his objective this way. The titty objective. Hey- if Magnus was going to be so open about his apple bottom jeans, he would staunchly push for a glimpse at his chest up close.

Coco stares at Zaba, and she finds it funny, watching the poor little trash panda pawing weakly at her. With a huff, she begins to trot along towards Latte, who still lays asleep, before dropping Zaba carefully on the ground, Latte opening one eye and staring the trash coon down. His head pops up.[break][break]

From his mouth, very tiny embers appear, warming the coon's face like having a warm heated blanket in winter. If it weren't summer, it might feel good. But at least it DID feel good.[break][break]

"Now that, Mint with the booty, sounds like a fun date." And that's exactly what it would be, as he gets up from the bench, beginning to throw his arms up in a stretch. The muscle shirt does still do well to hide, but he's a big guy, and to the perceptive, they could see the built-brick-shithouse beneath it.[break][break]

"Coco. Latte. Let's get some coffee."[break][break]

Coco stands at attention, her face pushing to Zaba's. She made a friend, and as she trots back towards Magnus, Latte gets up, and does a stretch himself, paws forward, and thicker body trying to get awake. Coffee time! If allowed, Latte would even give Zaba a ride over to his trainer! Any friend of Coco was a friend of his, and so...[break][break]

As Magnus would stop his stretch, seeing his dogs come over, he turns to Mint. "I'm buyin'. Whatcha like, sweetcheeks?"[break][break]

Zabaglione swings gently from his tail as Coco brings him back, successfully caught. He lands softly, his pelt taking much of the impact before he rolls up onto his feet, tail wagging excitedly. Zaba barks, shaking himself amidst the smoke, panting from the heat. He does what any good dog adjacent creature would, and sniffs at the Houndoom before poking his nose at Latte's and pulling away. Mint grins, watching the man stand and the shirt move. He tries not to make it to obvious he's staring as what looked like flesh color rock carved out in front of him. A blink or two, and he remembered that Magnus had given his ass a once over more than a few times this entire conversation. [break][break]

He looks away just in time to take a quick video of Zabaglione climbing on top of Latte as they come over, pleased as punch that he had managed to make two new friends today. He straightens up as the dogs arrive, pocketing his phone as he turned to look up at Magnus only to realize he'd only made it as far as his tits went, and there was still more to go. [break][break]

"I could go for am ice cold fra- frappa...fruh-" he trialed off as he craned his neck ever higher. Gods above, that wasn't possible. Had he shrunk in size. He looked down as the dogs then back up again, blinking incredulously trying not to let his jaw drop that hard. "F-...I uh- fuck?? FRAP. Frappuccino." he blurted out as he managed to regain control of his mouth.

Latte continues to walk with Zabaglione on his back, intent to get this little goblin to his final destination and then some. Like a carrier. Coco would make sure to look over every few seconds, help adjust him, and center the little dog-adjacent little gremlin, ensuring he doesn't fall. Two very, adorable unrelated sibling dogs. This was their honorary brother. They adopted him. It was done.[break][break]

Coco even starts prancing towards the nearest coffee shop. It really was just a walk over. Coco was on it.

The miniscule amount of calm Mint had managed to gather is immediately blown out of the water as Magnus echoes his broken phrases. His eyes snap up from his pecs back up to his face and he felt his entire body grow hot as he smirked back down at him, cocky and self assured as ever. And it's hot. It's so hot. He hates himself for being so obviously flustered. But he's not even aware of how bad it in, braincells struggling to click together as he continued to crane his neck to meet Magnus' eyes. Finally he just decides to take a few steps back and change the angle. It barely works. [break][break]

"T-That's not what I-" he coughed to clear his throat before tentatively taking Magnus' hand. Frazzled, nearly short circuiting at the situation he'd gotten himself into. Tall. So tall. The tallest he'd ever had, damn near.[break][break]

"I- Sorry- I just-" he mumbled trying to get it together as their dogs led them away. "Can I get that ice cold fuck, with extra whip?" he asked, tone cheeky as they went away. Mint did his best to keep up with Magnus' antic, finding reservoirs of bold confidence every so often. This coffee date might take a bigger toll on him than he initially thought.
